As our Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer, you will code applications as part of a team that will clear a backlog of functions and features requested for the efficient operation of Guidewire ClaimsCenter. You will find and solve problems with the software and learn from more senior members of the team how to work on the overall architecture.
What You’ll Do
Every day, Guidewire ClaimCenter Developers will work on clearing a backlog of requested features and issues with the Guidewire ClaimCenter software. You are an individual contributor to a team of developers and will work with a more senior developer to solve problems and share knowledge.
You may work from home in the Dallas Metroplex but are expected to come in for a collaboration day every 10 days.
What You’ll Need
To thrive as a Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer, you have a background in Java or object-oriented programming. You can work as part of a team to solve development and coding problems.
You can take instruction and are willing to learn from more experienced developers on the team. You take ownership of your role and are willing to research solutions on your own to grow into a more senior role.
You want to work as part of a fast-paced team, constantly learning and pushing to move the team as a whole forward.
You have worked previously with an Agile team or understand these concepts. You expect to participate in daily standup meetings, you’ll complete your projects or stories during our sprints, and you’re ready to meet frequent deployment deadlines.
