Are you a customer-first marketer and brand ambassador with a knack for executing innovative marketing initiatives? SMI is seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to bring our brand to the next level.
The Marketing Coordinator will lead the implementation and execution of marketing campaigns through promotional materials, creative content, advertising strategies, email, and social media. This person is a creative, strategic thinker and digital and print content specialist who will implement effective, brand-building strategies that align with SMI’s mission and goals. The ideal candidate for this position balances creativity with structure, can effectively work with a team to bring great ideas to life, and is committed to on-brand quality work that upholds and amplifies the SMI tradition of innovation and compassionate service.
This person will strengthen consumer engagement with current and future products, and increase revenue by implementing top-notch multi-channel marketing strategy.
Key Functions/ Basic Duties:
- Ideate, lead, and execute Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Government marketing campaigns from start to finish across but not limited to email, social, search, and direct mail.
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop, shape, and execute marketing and brand strategy.
- Analyze customer insights and trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- Manage company websites, social media platforms, and promotional materials.
- Research and identify new marketing and sales opportunities for the company.
- Create engaging content for web pages, videos, press releases, case studies, white papers, social media, blogs, newsletters, product sheets, and email.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Design Specialist, Marketing Director, and Business Development team.
- Interpret and monitor KPIs and other digital/social marketing analytics
Education and/ or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- Five years’ experience as a results-driven marketing professional
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a true team environment, collaborating with graphic designers and vendors to produce high-quality work
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with full-service marketing CRMs such as ActiveCampaign or HubSpot
- Expert verbal and written communicator
