Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce Operations, the SEO and Digital Marketing Analyst works with internal and external teams and across digital channels to evaluate the effectiveness of the company's digital marketing efforts. This team member plays a critical role in matching the science of measurement with the goals of the business. The Analyst is involved in all phases of the measurement and analytics process – from setting KPIs, ensuring proper tracking, executing the analysis, to ultimately delivering insights. You will work across teams, departments and disparate systems and tools to bring together the right data to help inform marketing decisions and uncover new areas of opportunity.

This role will also oversee the company's SEO efforts. You will support a wide range of measurement activities on a daily basis, such as A/B testing, building dashboards, and conducting analysis. The Analyst possesses the hard skills in data and analytics, but also knows how to deliver compelling and effective presentations that communicate insights and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement Digital Marketing strategies to maximize website traffic, increase conversion rates and average order value, and drive overall effective digital content for DTC (direct-to-consumer) and B2B (business-to-business) audiences.
  • Manage and work with external agency partner(s) and internal stakeholders to build out paid media and SEO campaigns.
  • Develop and implement complex SEO, content and UX strategies that improve search results for website and related content.
  • Monitor SEO positions and recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking for target keywords.
  • Conduct regular SEO audits, keyword research, competitive analysis, backlink audit.
  • Review ongoing Digital Marketing and media strategies and ensures all results are on track.
  • Monitor budgets and ROI to ensure success of campaigns, including SEM and paid social media.
  • Research current SEO and SEM techniques and apply new methods to improve and maximize web traffic using current SEO trends.
  • Work with cross-functional team members to track data across multiple channels and KPIs.
  • Deliver and present reports, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • 3-5+ years total relevant experience required in digital marketing and/or marketing analytics
  • 2-3 years’ experience in digital search and web analytics with strong understanding of SEO
  • Strong knowledge of current Digital Marketing approaches, with solid understanding of web, paid media, and SEO.
  • Strong understanding of the KPIs used in digital marketing, and experience with Excel, Tableau and/or Google Data Studio reporting functions.
  • Ability to conduct data analysis and leverage data to solve problems and answer questions
  • Proficient in data forecasting and modeling, AB and multivariant testing techniques and best practices. Familiarity with statistics
  • Experience with SEO, website, email, social and paid media, applying the right analytical techniques where appropriate
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Experience with search engine optimization tools (Google Search Console, Moz, SEM Rush)
  • Familiar with using JavaScript to implement and maintain digital tracking technologies
  • Ability to manage and maintain multiple projects simultaneously
  • Critical thinking skills with an understanding of how measurement connects to business goals and objectives
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills

Mastery of the following tools:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • SQL with a data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, MS SQL Server)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Tableau
  • Salesforce CRM

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline; MBA a plus
  • 3-5+ Years of experience in a related field and/or position
