Zaal Ventures operates two businesses in the travel and software industry : US Ghost Adventures and Junket. It provides tour experiences, hospitality, and ecommerce operations.

The company conducts tours across the nation and operates:

A gps guided audio tour app and a custom built backend system on AWSUses Stripe

Has a SaaS component and paying customers, user and client management dashboardWeb-based booking button for sales outside of the appAdventure feature allows for gamification, scavenger hunt like activities

A custom bult business management platform which includesBusiness intelligence and analytics reporting

Numerous websites using wordpress. Regular page speed and technical SEO audits and improvement are critical
System to send automated e-mails to customers cross promoting other services

This is a remote W-2 role and not a contract position.

Job Description

We are looking for highly skilled remote developers who will take a key role on our team long-term. Our Full Stack developers must have knowledge in various stages of development.

As a Full Stack Developer, You will be responsible for creating user interactions on various websites and platforms, proficient in front-end and back-end development, developing databases and services for functionality. Our documentation is on Github. We use slack and asana collaboration tools.

Full Stack Developer Skills and Expertise:

Design and build overall architecture of web applications.
Maintain quality, uptime, security, and ensure responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with the rest of the team to plan and launch new features.
Maintain code integrity, organization, and regularly update documentation.
Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
Highly experienced with back-end programming languages:
Laravel (PHP)
Vue.js
MySQL
Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
Knowledge of code versioning tools
Experience developing iOS apps preferred but not required
