software Engineer I - Production Support 🔥
The Software Engineer is responsible for joining an Application Operations team and contributing to the support of overall product lifecycle and standardizing processes for increased efficiency in our Store Checkout Applications. This position focuses on handling incident management, problem management, change management, ad hoc requests, knowledge management and automation. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a team with more experienced engineers to help build and grow your skills while you support and improve the efficiency and reliability of the applications you support

Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

- Experience in a product or application support enviorment
- Experience with ITIL
- Experience with GCP
- Experience with Linux scripting
- Exposure to an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java)
- Exposure to microservice-based architecture
