The Account Executive role requires you to be able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously by leveraging your dynamic interpersonal skills and goal-oriented attitude to gain commitment from consumers to sell their luxury goods using our auction platform. You will focus on engaging high-end luxury customers and utilizing empathy and consultative selling skills to build trust and advance them through the sales cycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and convert a funnel of high-volume warm leads to resale consumers
  • Work directly with potential sellers (consumers) over the phone, SMS text and email
  • Manage your calendar of assigned scheduled seller calls
  • Use your emotional intelligence and communication skills to build trust with potential sellers
  • Educate potential sellers on the luxury goods resale market
  • Persuade and convince sellers to ship their luxury goods to Worthy HQ in NYC to be evaluated by a team of expert gemologists/support staff
  • Input seller and item data to qualify luxury items for auction in tandem with our gemology/operations team
  • Assist our operations and support teams in handling and procuring shipments of luxury goods
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

  • A resourceful, proactive and highly-independent self-starter who is to motivated to exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction from a home office/remote setting
  • Someone with the ability to listen while including empathy in response to a sellers story
  • Someone with a closer mentality and the ability to manage multiple customers concurrently at various stages of the sales process
  • Positive, upbeat, personable, and egoless with a team-oriented mindset
  • Adaptable and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment under tight timelines and resources
  • A strong communicator with excellent verbal & written skills
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing business needs and ability to manage multiple moving parts

What You Have

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume inside sales role (technology or high-end jewelry background preferred)
  • Ability to work remotely for 40+ hours a week - remote work experience preferred
  • Business development mindset focusing on driving sale opportunities while operating in a fast-paced, fluid operating environment
  • Consistent record of hitting and exceeding quota with heavy sales output
  • Sensitive to issues of urgency and be able to take ownership in escalating customer concerns as needed
  • Familiarity with CRM functionality (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot)
  • Eastern, Central, Mountain time zone preferred; ability to work an Eastern Time Zone schedule

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific remote location. The starting salary for this role is $45,000-$50,000 + bonus.
