Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Grants & Accounting Manager who is passionate about using technology to make a positive impact in the world. This person will join us in our mission to transform social services for the inherent dignity of all. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in accounting and grants management. Key Responsibilities

  • AP Management - Pay vendor bills, check invoicing email regularly, W9 maintenance 
  • AR Management - Generate invoices 
  • Coding and substantiating expenditure entries in QBO 
  • Organizing and tracking grant expenses
  • Coordinating State payroll tax account registrations with Operations and State followup
  • Generating reports for State & Federal agencies and a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors 
  • Working with partners to ensure invoicing is submitted along with supporting documents
  • Creating SOP to document Accounting and Finance processes
  • Assisting the CFO with annual statutory audit
  • Managing monthly payroll cycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Not-for-Profit Experience
  • Min. 5 Years of Work Experience
  • Full Cycle Accounting Experience
  • State and Federal Agency Reporting Experience
  • Experience Working in a Remote Environment
  • Ability to take initiatives and work independently
  • Min. 2 Years of Experience in QuickBooks Online 
  • An entrepreneurial spirit is a plus.
