Job Description


The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and executing the go to market strategy for the company’s products and solutions by developing an in-depth analysis of the market, gathering market and competitive intelligence, and determining product positioning and messaging.

  • Product Positioning: identify key differentiators, build the solution’s marketecture and develop the company’s value-proposition.

    • Develop and maintain detailed messaging themes aimed at differentiating the company’s Product and solutions from the competition.

  • Sales and Marketing Communications Enablement: work in close collaboration with marketing communications by providing content for the production of marketing collateral (brochures, data sheets, case studies, web site...). Responsible for:

    • Content for collateral from Product positioning documents.

    • Internal Sales Training (including market data, competitive information and product positioning).

    • E-books and White Papers development (in collaboration with product team and external resources), FAQs and other ad hoc content for lead generation.

    • External Product presentations for sales to re-use.

    • Pricing tool update with Business Analyst.

  • Market Intelligence: gather and analyze data (market sizing, trends, customer needs, and product requirements) for Market Analysis presentations on trends and driving forces.

  • Competitive Intelligence: gather and analyze competitive data (comparing product features and functionality, business models and high-level price positioning, market share, positioning…).


Qualifications
  • Proven and successful experience in the Product Marketing role
  • Willingness to travel mostly in the US – up to 40% of time
  • Interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • Analytical and Writing skills (messaging) with some level of creativity
  • Leadership to make things happen
