JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

Provides technical and non-technical customer support in walk-in service area or call center. Communicates with customer via phone, email, and in-person.

Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience.

Job Description:

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Intake and assist walk-ins, appointments, and returning customers
  • Create estimates, price quotes, and invoices for auto work
  • Answer phones and return customer calls
  • Fields and escalates customer concerns as needed with technical or specialized support
  • Provides exceptional customer service to each customer that enters and leaves the store
  • Follows standard operating procedures to provide excellent customer service and to maintain and improve orders
  • Work is routine and closely supervised
  • Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation
  • Assist manager with daily parts returns
  • Ensure accuracy when ordering parts
  • Input documentation on all calls and follow-up with callers as needed
  • Confirm all mobile jobs parts and materials before dispatching drivers
  • Open new accounts and service existing accounts



Skills/Qualifications/Physical Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a positive attitude and customer service mindset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to bend or stand at least 80% of the time
  • Capable of working any day of the week including Sundays
  • Basic computer skills: ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into system
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to accomplish goals
  • Motivated self-starter who is willing to work independently and with teams
  • Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is a plus
  • Prior phone or call center experience is a plus!
