SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ActOne Group is seeking a Copywriter for Corporate and Staffing verticals to support all copywriting efforts for our staffing and workforce solutions vertical. As an important role within the marketing department, the ideal candidate will create innovative and engaging content that drives SEO optimized results. This individual must have experience with developing industry and culturally relevant content that is published for B2B and B2C audiences.

The candidate will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with internal company leaders to produce content that elevates our brands as thought leaders within the workforce solutions industry. The position will report directly to the Sr. Communications Director. The position is remote.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

· Communicate with internal brand strategists, product/services specialists, customer engagement specialists, creative and digital media leaders to develop a deep understanding of our corporate vertical.

· Write clear, concise, compelling and emotionally connective content, targeting workforce solutions industry clients and candidates.

· Establish our brand as the thought leader by producing articles, white papers, blogs, sales sheets, industry-specific one-pagers, brochures, FAQs, solution pages, social media captions and video scripts for corporate vertical needs.

· Conduct research on industry-related topics and keywords, and create content that leverages SEO, increasing web traffic, and driving client engagement

· Write in multiple styles and tonalities to ensure consistent content production in line with brand target audiences supporting corporate needs.

· Work directly with our Multimedia, Digital Media and Creative teams to meet brands’ KPIs and content needs.

· Demonstrate strong presentation skills, both internally and externally

· Execute thoughtful content experiments to unlock high-impact results and leverage automation to maximize user engagement & retention.

· Collaborate cross-functionally within the marketing team to identify growth and viral opportunities on organic channels, including social, influencer, and community and reviews/testimonials.

· Report on performance at regular intervals; proactively share insights and learnings with the rest of the team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 + years copywriting experience in a creative/ad/digital agency or in a marketing team (STRONGLY preferred in workforce solutions/HR industry)
  • Strong project management/editorial calendar skills required- e.g. Wrike, AirTable, Asana, Monday
  • Solid ability to develop strategic thinking and write creative concepts that result in real time trending content and thought provoking industry best practices.
  • Highly proficient with SEO driven content- such as keywords, domain authority, page impressions, page ranking, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of the mechanics of writing: punctuation, spelling, structure, tone and organization of writing
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of A/B testing, ability to draw conclusions from data and act accordingly
  • Excellent written and verbal, communication and presentation skills, a proven ability to lead day-to-day relationships, and work with multiple contacts successfully.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking (you will be overseeing multiple projects at once)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
