Senior Full Stack Developer - Fully Remote 🔥
Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer that has experience with React, Amplify, and Python. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications running on the company's platform (mostly on AWS with Amplify, Cognito, Serverless, etc.) You will work closely with the rest of the development team to design and implement new features, as well as troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience with web development and ideally have experience with AWS stack as well as Heroku. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for producing high-quality, scalable web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Work with others in the organization to develop and maintain web applications, typically written in React and integrated and running on AWS or Heroku.
- Be able to implement web applications based on designs from tools such as Figma.
- Work with the rest of the development team to design and implement new features running on native applications or the client's serverless AWS or Heroku RoR backends. (Prior experience with eCommerce platforms is a plus)
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the web applications
- Ensure that the web applications are scalable and maintainable
- Coach and collaborate with other teams to ensure that the web applications integrate seamlessly with other systems
- Review merge requests from external contractors on occasion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Extensive Experience with web development
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and best practices
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with frontend development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with database design and management
