Hr Project Manager - Games 🔥

The talent team at Netflix Games Studio is looking for an experienced HR project manager who will play a key role in executing on this vision. This role will work closely with the Games HR Business Partner team and the broader Netflix talent teams (e.g.,  talent acquisition, talent management, HR operations, etc) to drive Games-specific HR programs & initiatives that attract, engage, and retain talent. This role also has an HR Business Partner component and will provide day-to-day HR support to managers and individual contributors in central teams (~ 80 employees in Operations, Live Service, and Tech Lab).



HR Project Management

  • Partner with the Games HR leadership to project manage strategic HR programs that are specific to the Games business needs. Projects will be in key organizational and talent development spaces such as workforce planning and organizational health
  • Partner with broader talent teams to ensure smooth execution and operation of key Netflix HR processes (e.g., compensation planning, 360 feedback) and games-specific talent practices
  • Leverage and analyze people and organizational data to drive HR agenda and recommendations. Develop a framework to report on key HR metrics on a set cadence, provide insights and help with recommendations.  Provide data analysis support to HR Partners as needed  
  • Inclusion and Diversity Programs: Provide project support and track key I&D programs in partnership with other talent teams such as recruiting, talent management, and HR business partners
  • Support HR integration work with future acquisitions



HR Business Partnership

  • Own the day-to-day HR partnership with managers and employees on all talent matters in central teams
  • Triage inquiries and connect questions to the appropriate subject-matter expert/team when necessary (e.g. Talent Experience and Operations, Talent Acquisition, etc.)
  • Take the lead, and partner with the ER team on facilitation of employee/ER matters (e.g., terminations & exits, long-term disability, LOAs) 
  • Coach/guide managers on leadership effectiveness, inclusion & diversity, and organizational health
  • Focus on key areas including talent experience, talent management, talent density,  manager & team effectiveness, and rolling out of Talent programs



We seek an individual who:

  • Demonstrates curiosity to gather business acumen and culture learning rapidly and eagerly and seeks to understand patterns and connections through strong partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Possesses program management skills including planning work, prioritizing and managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, time management, and delivering results with tight deadlines
  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive and effective communication plan for project rollout across the Games organization.  Ability to adjust the style for various audiences to articulate complex issues clearly and succinctly
  • Has proven ability to think and move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and  difficult tradeoffs to meet deadlines
  • Is able to work in fast-paced ambiguous environments, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, processes and priorities



Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, business or related fields 
  • Min of 3 years of experience in organizing, managing, and executing complex projects in various HR fields (organizational design, workforce planning, talent metrics) 
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and proficiency in Google Workspace platform including Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides. 
  • Relevant Human Resources experience in partnering with managers on full employment lifecycle touchpoints.   
  • Strong business acumen 
  • Drives recommendations and prioritization 
  • Experience in a complex, matrixed, global organization
  • Experience in or visibility to HR M&A and integration
