This position is full - time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time zone) including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need. Our office is located at 8403 FALLBROOK AVENUE, WEST HILLS, CA, 91304.
We offer 2 weeks of training and may be required to go into the office from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to gather support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepancies
- Provide input to policies, systems, methods and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing function
- Educate customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications
- Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed
- Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service experience with analyzing and solving customer problems using a phone and computer
- 1+ years of medical billing experience
- Experience with using Windows personal computer applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to work 40 hours / week within the operating hours of the site
- Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time zone) including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Collections experience
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within commutable distance of the West Hills, CA office
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
