As a seasoned self-starter, the Field Marketing Manager will strategize and execute demand generation and lead development programs for our K12 market digital learning solutions and consulting practice. In this role, you will create brand awareness and visibility for our continuum of solutions. The Field Marketing Manager will work closely with sales, strategy, and product marketing, in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Research & Development

  • Bring together market and customer data and insights to field inform marketing plan.
  • Launch programs to provide the 'voice-of-the-field', collaborating with product management team to conduct customer interviews and report on outcomes to inform marketing and product decisions.
  • Lead awareness, communication, and enablement efforts in the field that support the knowledge and adoption of marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Understand complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers and inform team on opportunities to improve.
  • Oversee and drive lead generation and field marketing plans to support Studer Education revenue objectives to grow existing client base and acquire new customers.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, and other teams to develop and execute go-to-market programs.
  • Strategize, prioritize, and attend industry events that drive business, working closely with event manager to ensure execution of event marketing strategy.
  • Build field marketing plan, working with product marketing and sales team to drive strategic growth.
  • Develop, lead and deliver marketing plans and campaigns to create pipeline and brand awareness for assigned product lines.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing programs that include but are not limited to events, webinars, demand campaigns/nurture programs, digital advertising, social media, etc.
  • Work closely with sales enablement team to inform marketing operations system and CRM needs, ensuring awareness, adoption, and participation of marketing campaigns and tools by sales professionals.
  • Find opportunities to use existing materials, campaigns and resources and drive inclusion and participation of customers in programs led by the integrated marketing team.
  • Share plans and campaign tactics with other team members to facilitate reuse and replication of standard methodologies.
  • Ensure budget and performance targets are met, tracked, and aligned with broader marketing programs to help develop a predictable pipeline.
  • Lead formal feedback loop to provide field input on programs and promotions to product and marketing teams.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness based on appropriate KPIs and present program.
  • Deliver detailed reporting and metrics on activity results, campaign efficiency, and return on investment.
  • Keep the company up to date with market trends and competition, and translate that into actionable information, tools (e.g., battle cards), and programs for Sales and Marketing

QUALIFITICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, account-based marketing, and leading in-person and virtual field events with at least 3 years’ experience in the K12 education field preferred.
  • Experience in building and executing integrated marketing programs, managing program budgets, and reporting
  • Experience building and executing on field/geo-specific marketing plan(s) in partnership with sales team, product team, leadership, and third-party agencies
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
  • Experience developing marketing content - blog posts or articles, email outreach, whitepapers, and case studies developed to support integrated marketing campaigns
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership
  • Hands-on, collaborative, creative, strategic thinker, and analytical
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time with excellent attention to details
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment to deliver results and collaborate comfortably with senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, Finance and other functions.
  • Understanding of marketing functions in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to travel periodically
