ABOUT THE ROLE  🤹‍♀️

Arena is looking for a Growth Product Manager to accelerate our new user growth through running consumer-focused experiments and managing performance-marketing initiatives that require engineering.
You’ll work with designers, engineering, growth, data, and product marketing to understand requirements, prioritize bets, measure results, while bringing your ideas to life. A successful candidate will be able to measure the millions in incremental LTV driven by experimentation and initiatives.

Specifically, you will:

  • Be the product-level expert on both onboarding and offboarding funnels. Fully understand the UX, from design to drop-off, how various segments behave, and identify leverage points.
  • Gather Ideas: Whether through understanding customer pain-points or reviewing competitors’ flows, develop hypotheses/ideas to meaningfully improve conversion rates. Size growth opportunities pre-launch and rigorously measure results after launch. Create a roadmap of experimentation ideas, prioritizing order based on ICE (impact, confidence, effort) methodology, and assess potential against performance-marketing engineering needs.
  • Team Leadership: Drive and motivate a team of engineers to ship experiences and experiments that consistently improve key growth metrics. Additionally, Work cross-functionally with design, to perfect UX, performance marketing to deeply understand and support needs, and with data/product org, to ensure experimental requirements are spec’d and ready for engineering to implement.
  • Measure & Learn: Monitor results across many KPI to understand the true impact of experiments. Dig into how experiments perform across segments and develop new hypotheses based on learnings. When results are mixed (supporting some KPI but not all), work with finance, data, and senior leadership, to determine appropriate next steps.
  • Product Led Growth: Champion product led growth through measuring, learning, and deploying successful experimentation. Harness viral loops to catalyze user onboarding, improve user retention, create a growth flywheel and build a network effect within our self service consumer communities.
  • Immerse yourself in data: Drive accountability for results through quantitative and qualitative success metrics. Build a data driven engine for monitoring ‘Product-qualified leads’ based on key product usage signals from consumers. Leverage key signals and triggers from data analytics to drive growth experimentation.

ABOUT YOU 🦄

You bring deep empathy but can effectively prioritize with limited resources. You have a growth mindset and want to be challenged. You have a high bar and want to be a difference-maker in the organization. You’ll bring a sense of urgency that matches the incredible opportunity we have ahead of us

  • 3-5+ years experience building and shipping high-impact experiences that drive growth of consumer products, with 2+ years with conversion rate optimization experience.
  • Proven experience in meaningfully impacting conversion rates through experimentation. Please tell us what you did along with its impact. Bonus for candidates who have learned from failed experiments to create wins.
  • An owner’s mindset - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff.
  • Experience at a fast-growing startup in a cross-functional environment.
  • Passion for our mission: improving the financial health of millions
  • Strong collaboration in team environments but able to act quickly as the decision-maker.
  • Strong testing and analytical skills, experience with tools for doing data analysis (i.e. Looker and Amplitude) ideally for a B2C company with a subscription model.
  • Excellent communication skills. You can both present the business case supporting experiments as well as socialize learnings company-wide.
  • You are internally driven to make an impact and energized by the challenging work it takes to get there.
