Job Summary

We’re looking for sales-driven, enthusiastic P&C sales professionals to join our next class of Choice Sales Consultants beginning in February 2023.

In this role, you will respond to calls coming into our call center by consulting with prospective customers to understand their needs and offering a slate of Property & Casualty insurance carriers (including but not limited to Farmers), selling products which best fit the customer’s needs. You will earn a base salary in addition to monthly incentive earnings based upon your performance.

We provide 8+ weeks of paid training, which will include learning Farmers systems & products as well as P&C insurance products from multiple additional carriers. This training program will take place within a virtual classroom environment, combining instructor-led and hands-on learning with mentoring to ensure that you have the skills you need to succeed at Farmers. Ongoing coaching and training will remain a focus throughout your career to help you grow in your role and advance to new opportunities.

Here’s what you will accomplish as a member of our team:

  • Sell insurance products to inbound callers by gathering data from customers to generate quotes and ultimately bind the business; in some instances, make outbound calls
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships, while educating customers regarding coverages and cost so that the customer can select the most appropriate option
  • Qualify customers as buyers of other products/services to create cross-sell and upselling opportunities
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while seamlessly interacting with the customer

Experience Requirements

  • P&C or Personal Lines License is required; must be eligible to obtain and maintain resident/non-resident licensing in all US states
  • Education - High School diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred
  • Experience in P&C insurance sales is required
  • Experience offering multiple carriers is preferred, as well as experience selling in a call center environment
  • Direct sales skills, and the aptitude to influence customers and close the sale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to adapt communication style to each phone call, and explain complex policy and coverage information in understandable terms
  • Strong PC and software skills required

Position Location:

Candidates must reside within the states of Arizona, Texas, Ohio, Florida- role is permanently virtual.

We will provide you with the technology that you need successfully to connect from home, including laptop & accessories.

Work Schedule:

Our priority is to our customers, and we work non-traditional hours to match their needs. You must be available to work shifts as assigned within the hours below; shifts will include evenings, Saturdays, and holidays.

  • Monday-Friday 8am-10:00pm EST (8am-8:00pm MST; 8am-9:00pm CST)
  • Saturday 9am-5:30pm EST (7am-3:30pm MST; 8am-4:30pm CST)

Full-time- 40 hours/week; five 8-hour shifts per week.
