Engel & Völkers Americas supports a network of premium residential real estate brokerages throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean and is responsible for the firm’s ongoing expansion in additional markets.

We are seeking a Social Media Manager for our Americas headquarters located on Park Avenue in New York City. This position is based out of our headquarters, with a flexible working environment for either an office or remote setting with a hybrid work model. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading the brand’s social media presence, driving strategies to support business goals and will play a critical role in supporting the growth of the brand’s social media portfolio. The ideal candidate should be creative, ambitious, and detail oriented, with expertise in all social media platforms, paid digital advertising and experience using social media analytics and automation tools. The role provides a great opportunity to work with a team of thinkers and doers passionate about our brand and our network of sophisticated real estate professionals. This position pays between $85,000 and $100,000 per year depending on education, experience and skill.



Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage the brand’s social media strategy and content
  • Create and execute paid digital and social media ad campaigns to help support business goals
  • Manage content calendar for all social media accounts and ensure cross-functional alignment with all marketing, product and brand initiatives
  • Oversee the reporting, goal setting and benchmarking for social channels, building monthly and quarterly that generate strategic insights
  • Identify and engage with key influencers and brand ambassadors, inclusive of the creation of social media content briefs, in support of brand campaigns
  • Serve as a thought leader for the organization in social media, sharing trends, best practices and bringing innovative strategies to go-to-market planning discussions
  • Create education content, webinars and live training to real estate network on social media best practices
  • Consistently track social media trends
  • Define, and track social media KPIs
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Collaborate with global headquarters to ensure shared platforms are including Americas content

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expert knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, TikTok
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with audience and buyer persona research
  • Experience setting and managing KPIs
  • Experience with community management and social listening
  • Exemplary skills in research, interviewing, copy writing and editing; video production is a plus
  • Experience executing paid digital ad campaigns with Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram
  • Ability to manage multiple digital campaigns and channels (paid search, paid social, display media, content syndication) each with specific audience segments
  • Ability to interface with multiple levels of management and departments
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple projects and manage internal deadlines
  • Self-motivated; able to own projects and execute in a timely manner
  • Global cultural awareness

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with proven history of social media strategy and audience development success within previous organizations or agencies
  • Minimum 3-5 years with the Google Ads and Facebook Business manager platforms
  • Minimum 3-5 years managing a digital budget to meet objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and among stakeholders to provide maximum results
  • Background running statistical analysis to inform database marketing and understand campaign metrics
