Job Description



We are seeking a Senior Accountant within the Revenue Accounting team to perform advanced accounting and financial analysis functions within the Revenue Accounting Operations department. The functions and tasks are to be performed accurately and efficiently, with continuous improvement through process automation and enhancements. This role works in conjunction with other teams within CCL Finance, Revenue Management and other departments as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Monthly preparation and posting of complex and adjusting journal entries
  • Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly variance analysis on relevant balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Monthly preparation of analytical reports for Advanced Ticket Deposits, Cancellation Revenue, Deviations, Credit Card Activity and other KPI’s
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports as required
  • Assist in the creation (or updating) of shore side accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist and support budgeting team with their requests related to Revenue Accounting Operations
  • Interact with outside financial auditors and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • No or very little travel likely

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Master’s Degree, Accounting preferred
  • CPA/CPA Candidate
  • 3 to 4 years accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills; Oracle R12; Hyperion Interactive Reporting; Essbase; Tableau Reporting
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Skilled in research and problem solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels to maximize results
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use creative approaches to challenges
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines

The range for this role’s base salary is $81,000 - $91,000. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
