Startek is seeking a copywriter to join their global Marketing team. This role is an important position within the Content Marketing team responsible for liaising with colleagues across geographies to bring the benefits of Startek products and solutions to life through the creation of compelling content.



This role requires a high level of creativity mixed with the ability to work with a clear strategic intent, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Through their writing, the Copywriter will support the Marketing team’s overarching goal of increasing brand awareness, lead generation and conversion.



The ideal candidate is capable of working in a fast-paced environment, balancing scheduled activities with incoming content requests. They will be responsible for producing a variety of content for both print and digital mediums, from emails and blogs to case studies, sell sheets and best practice guides. In addition to creating content, this role acts as a proofreading and editing resource for the marketing function.



This role will mirror east coast hours, but is a remote position within the U.S.



Responsibilities

  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
  • Effectively research topic areas to develop insightful and informative content
  • Distil complex product and service features into compelling client benefits
  • Build strong relationships with internal thought leaders
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing team on large and small-scale projects

  • Edit and proofread copy as needed, including acting as an editor for other team members
  • Effectively apply SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
  • Act as a champion for the Startek style and tone

  • Work closely with the Associate Vice President, Marketing on projects as necessary


Job Requirements



  • 5+ years proven experience as a copywriter or in a related role, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in journalism, communications or marketing
  • Experience producing copy for both print and digital media channels
  • Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns
  • Experience of SEO concepts and social media marketing
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in the customer experience (CX) management or digital CX space preferred
