    What You'll Do:



    Play a key role as a Scrum/Agile team member in the design, development, deployment,

    and support of our web solution.



    Deliver high-quality, well-tested code that meets stated requirements and reflects coding best practices.

  • Complete assigned sprint tasks efficiently and assist fellow team members as needed to achieve the team's sprint and delivery goals

  • Be an active, vocal participant in Scrum/Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, sprint review, sprint retrospective, backlog grooming

  • Design solutions for feature-level requirements. Break down work into user stories and tasks

  • Perform code reviews to ensure standards and best practices are adhered to

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members

  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for achieving team delivery goals

  • Recommend and drive team process improvements

  • Be a great teammate! Always demonstrating team-oriented behaviors: respectful, accountable, reliable, helpful, good communicator, open-minded



    What You'll Need



    Required Technical Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience developing web database applications, 2+ years with .NET and C#

  • Proficiency with JavaScript

  • Experience developing and integrating REST web services

  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL

  • Experience writing unit tests

  • Experience with code version control systems (such as Git, SVN, TFVC) and branching strategies

  • Understanding of software development patterns and coding best practices

  • Experience delivering software projects as part of a Scrum/Agile team

  • Ability to lead and coach team members through technical implementations



    Preferred Technical Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience developing web applications with .NET Framework and .NET Core using C#, MVC, Web API, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL

  • 2+ years' experience with a JavaScript library/framework such as React, Angular, Vue

  • 2+ years' experience developing with Microsoft Azure cloud services

  • Experience using Git-based source code management, and Gitflow or similar branching

  • Experience creating CI/CD build and deploy pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps

  • Experience with agile software project tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jira

  • Understanding of data privacy and security principles and how they apply to insurance digital systems and solutions

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus
