About Our Design Team
Our design team is responsible for creating strategically designed websites focused on conversions, collaborating with the development team to bring those website designs to life, analyzing user behavior to optimize for conversions, as well as producing marketing creatives, newsletters, social media graphics, branding, print collateral, and more.
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate is a visual UI Designer with 4+ years of professional experience. Highly analytical and organized, our UX/UI designer is a team player focused on delivering clean and visually appealing user-centric designs. You will work closely with our Design & Product Manager, as well as your creative peers, on your assigned projects and initiatives; from brand new websites designed from scratch or analyzing existing websites to improve usability and conversion rates.
Each of our clients are unique in their needs and goals. You will also participate in producing other creatives that elevate the brand experience for our clients’ audiences (branding, digital ads, and more).
Requirements
- 4+ years designing user-facing digital products for clients in various industries in collaboration with product managers, other designers, developers, account managers, and other cross-functional teams
- Team oriented with strong communication skills, work ethic, and proactive approach to challenges and problem solving
- Ability to brainstorm independently, effectively follow direction and take feedback
- Create user and conversion-focused website wireframes and designs with clear informational hierarchy and data-driven decisions
- Ability to understand client goals and identify their users’ journeys to make design decisions that speak to the “big picture” while taking care and attention to smaller details
- Be able to follow SOPs, design file etiquette, and have excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to help other designers on the team, as-needed, with tasks big and small
- Be able to interact with a client as a professional, speak as a subject matter expert, and clearly answer client questions
- Solid working experience in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other creative software
- Strong sense of accountability and ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting
- Always be learning – no matter how much experience or knowledge you have
Strong preferences for:
- Working experience in an agency setting or similar fast-paced environment
- Experience analyzing user behavior using product experience insight tools
- Experience working in MailChimp, other email newsletter platforms
- Experience utilizing visual feedback and quality assurance softwares
- Experience tracking projects/time within task management platforms
- Highly comfortable with light copy editing/writing
- Familiarity working in G-Suite
Job Type
- This role will start Part-Time with the potential to go Full-time
- Remote position with occasional trips to San Diego, CA
