Content Writer 🔥


Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for an experienced Content Writer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be an expert wordsmith who can quickly and efficiently translate complex concepts and dense material into clear and compelling content for our clients. This person will be curious and a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can meet tight deadlines. This position can be fully remote with the ability to work on-site if desired.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Marketing Director to maintain and build-out editorial calendars with relevant and potential content topics
  • Serve as primary content writer for assigned clients
  • Research and review U.S. and global policy updates
  • Communicate regularly with our international partners regarding international policy updates
  • Create client alerts, content for our website, and white paper drafting
  • Track content KPIs (traffic, organic keywords, conversions, etc.)
  • Proficiency in researching and crafting thoughtful and engaging content, articles, landing page content, etc.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate syntax and grammar throughout content, as well as proper EIG branding of all content created
  • Ensure that all content is on target and optimized for specific audiences

Qualifications:

  • Background in technical or creative writing
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English or related
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and energetic attitude
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills are essential
  • Excellent research skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to receive and critically analyze information
  • Ability to grasp legal and immigration issues and translate those issues into easy-to-understand language.
  • Prior legal industry experience not required
