About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional social media pro to drive our global efforts as a key leader on Lyra's corporate communications team. The right candidate is an enthusiastic and energetic leader who deeply values and actively champions connecting with people through brand building, influence, and storytelling via social media. Lyra's brand is built on the quality of our care, so exceptional content strategy, content creation skills, and care for details are vital in this role. We are seeking a director who can creatively elevate Lyra's unique voice and mission to extend our brand position as an authority in mental health and a compassionate resource for individuals in need of care. The person in this role should have an appreciation for the complex landscape of mental health issues and be interested in immersing themselves in understanding the audiences we serve, including clients receiving care, the providers delivering that support, and employers looking to expand benefits for their teams. Additionally, the right individual should be eager to apply a DEIB lens to all work. Individual identity is a core component of mental health, and the ideal candidate can blend sensitivity with a passion for advocacy.

  • Actively drive awareness and increase engagement across multiple social media platforms
  • Evaluate and establish presence on new platforms
  • Manage daily social listening, proactive, and reactive communications
  • Ensure brand consistency in creative content through tone, voice and terminology
  • Ensure DEIB considerations are applied to all content
  • Drive collaboration across the marketing organization to amplify campaigns (creative, content, events, subject matter experts, customer advocacy)
  • Create robust employee advocacy programs and campaigns tailored to support our subject matter experts (clinicians, execs, product leaders)
  • Construct specific KPI measurement and attribution frameworks that link social metrics (such as brand affinity, engagement, reach, etc.) to business goals (such as conversion, signups, app downloads, traffic, etc.)

Ideal Attributes

  • 13+ years of social media marketing; high-growth marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent content strategy, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Track record for executive thought leadership coaching and development
  • Keen eye for detail, including attention to word interpretation
  • Experienced in creating and managing thoughtful influencer programs
  • Skilled at creating inspiring and high-performing employee advocacy campaigns
  • Proven track record of engaging online communities in empathetic but informed dialog about health related issues (preferred)
  • Strong project management skills with desire and instinct to work cross-functionally
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Expert-level understanding of campaign measurement and reporting
  • Proficient with visual design tools (Figma, Canva, Illustrator)
