Accountant 🔥
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and review tax planning projections for individual and corporate estimated tax liabilities
- Prepare and/or review U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including consolidated and non-consolidated C-corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, Fiduciary, Non-Profit Organizations, complex U.S. and state individual income, gift tax, and estate tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and prepare a memorandum outlining findings and conclusions
- Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices. Communicate with IRS and clients in connection with audits, inquiries, and tax notices
- Team up on projects with other staff to execute most efficiency and provide accounting and tax assistance to staff as needed
- Communicate directly with existing clients, colleagues, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters
- Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by Management and Clients
- Work with team to encourage and promote a positive corporate culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- CPA license preferred
- 6-10 years of tax experience gained within a public accounting firm or related experience
- Proficient in corporate, partnership, and taxation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of managing multiple client engagements in addition to completing tasks related to business development

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
