Recruiter (Remote)

Location: Remote

Status: Full-time



Position Description

This position is responsible for providing Human Resources (HR) support primarily as a recruiter. We are seeking individuals who can work effectively as part of a team and provide employee support and guidance.



Required Qualifications:

B.S./B.A. in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience

Two years of relevant recruiting experience

Possess excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

Must be adaptable, flexible, and organized in daily activities

Proficient knowledge of laws and government regulations pertaining to recruitment, selection, etc.

Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for: compensation and benefits, selection, and personnel recruitment, providing customer service and employee training

Ability to problem solve and maintain confidential information

Be able to use electronic equipment (i.e., computer, scanner, fax machine, etc.)

Ability to communicate with others via face to face, phone, email, text messaging and video conferencing

Ability to work within web-based systems (i.e., SharePoint, Applicant Tracking Systems, New Hire Onboarding Systems, etc.)



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting in a Government contracting setting



Essential Functions:

Perform high volume, full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, interviewing, hiring and dispositioning applicants

Facilitate full-cycle new hire on-boarding and orientation process, as needed

Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation

Compile and prepare job descriptions from various sources (i.e., online databases)

Explain company procedures, benefits, and personnel policies to employees or job applicants

Maintain personnel and vendor files in accordance with company policy

Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions

Collaborate with Sr. Recruiter and HR Manager to compile all necessary data for government compliance requirements

Prepare reports as need on a variety of HR topics

Perform other duties as assigned

Work is primarily performed in an office environment
