Job Summary: The Full-Stack Web Developer is responsible for the development of Full Stack Web solutions utilizing Agile and/or waterfall software development methodologies (as appropriate) for Populytics and its clients, including population health management, provider tracking, provider profiling, claims processing, clinical data processing, and other applications. Helps maintain complex technology infrastructure and collaborates with management, data engineers, and customers to implement new features and plan for future projects. Full stack web developers participate in the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications using proven design principles, design patterns, and automated testing to continuously enhance their software. They participate in group meetings with other departments to clarify product requirements and designs, and they must remain current on relevant technologies and new industry trends to sustain a strong technical direction for Populytics. More specifically, full stack web developers work with the Product Owner and users to gather and analyze requirements, contribute to the development and prioritization of a backlog of features and enhancements, and plan short, iterative development cycles with team members to target the highest priority backlog items. They contribute to the design of functionality into the appropriate layers of the web development stack (data, logic, application, presentation) so as to maximize performance and enhance maintainability and extensibility. They develop web application features and enhancements utilizing standards and best practices, such as object-oriented programming and the model-view-controller pattern, and create testable, maintainable, extensible code with minimal dependencies. Full stack developers regularly write and run unit, integration and regression tests as guided by senior developers, maintaining high code coverage that ensures accuracy, integrity and performance of the entire code base. They regularly deploy changes to various environments (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) while minimizing downtime, utilizing automation and DevOps tools and processes. They also contribute to or participate in the presentation of features and enhancements to Users and Stakeholders and assist with the integration of their feedback into the backlog and future development cycles to ensure appropriateness and ease of use. ***Remote role majority of time, with flexibility to come to office as required for business needs***



Minimum Requirements: Work requires the level of knowledge normally attained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or Mathematics.



Minimum Experience: Minimum three (3) years progressive experience as a Web Developer or Programmer/Analyst. Extensive working experience with web fundamentals including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX, as well as web development using ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core, C#, and the MVC framework. Working experience with database technologies such as MS-SQL or MySQL. Working experience with a front-end CSS framework such as Bootstrap or Foundation and libraries such as jQuery or Backbone.js. Also experience with RESTful API, the CRUD cycle, and an ORM framework such as Entity Framework or NHibernate. Must be familiar with web server technologies such as IIS or Node.js, as well as a team-based version control system such as TFS or Git.



Work requires the ability to analyze and translate user requirements into effective and efficient system designs. Work requires ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined, carrying out responsibilities to their completion and functioning under shifting priorities, pressure, and deadlines. Work requires ability to communicate clearly and accurately in both verbal and written mode, accurately and concisely describing problems, solutions, specifications, and plans.





Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Experience: All of the minimum requirements plus familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React or AngularJS and CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS. Familiarity with SSIS or an equivalent ETL tool is a plus.
