Licensed Financial Sales Assistant 🔥


  • NOTE: Company is in California however, applicants can work from home/telecommute from anywhere in the continental United States.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
  • Use customer databases to generate additional business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Utilize cross sell, telemarketing, and/or internal referrals for additional product offers to expand the portfolio and client relationships.
  • Opens new accounts and responds to questions and fulfils customer requests regarding the organization's products and services.
  • Provides additional clerical or sales support for Financial Advisor.
  • Has a broad knowledge and understanding of the firm's offers.
  • Reports to Financial Advisor. Gain exposure to the complex tasks within the job function.
  • Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
  • Requires 3 to 5 years of related experience.
Competencies/Skills:
  • Team player.
  • Establish priorities and work to achieve business goals.
  • Effectively use technology: information systems & databases, Internet-based research, email correspondence, online advisor tools, etc.
  • Familiarity with Guardian Insurance and Park Avenue Securities systems preferred, especially the Living Balance SheetTM, SmartOffice and NetX360.
  • Commitment and focus on customer service.
  • Excellent written presentation, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Organization, time management and planning skills.
  • Independent and unsupervised work abilities.
  • Fully versed in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Adobe.
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance products; ability to learn new systems and process required paperwork.
  • Required FINRA securities licenses: SIE, Series 63, Series 7 and valid Life Insurance and Health Insurance licenses(licenses must be in good standing and active for at least 3 years).
Licensing & Compliance:
  • Maintain records of Advisor’s current investment licenses.
  • Process new and renewal licensing requests.
  • Assist Advisor with periodic on-site audits; collect data and maintain records required for quarterly transaction reporting, and assist Advisor with submitting data.
  • Maintain all required investment documents whether digital or hard copy.
Client Servicing:
  • Execute trades as needed.
  • Interact with Portfolio managers to create client presentations.
  • Prepare Annual Investment Performance Reviews for Financial Advisor submission.
  • Coordinate/schedule meetings with all Advisory clients.
  • Record Advisor recommendations and file them into appropriate reporting systems.
  • Support for new & ongoing financial consultations.
  • Assist in preparation of Financial Consultation Agreements and Subscription Agreements.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare presentation items for Advisor meetings (illustrations, educational materials, prospectuses and applications, bound presentations, etc.).
  • Keep up-to-date client records with regard to case notes, address changes, and payment changes.
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION INFORMATION Positions are HOURLY with a 90-day probationary period. Base Pay Range Depending on Experience: $20/hr to $27/hr
