Our Zulily corporate headquarters is in Seattle, WA. You will report to the Creative Production Manager and is available for remote work in the following states: WA, OH, and PA.
Our Retail Copy Organization is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Product Copywriter/Editor.
As an individual contributor reporting directly to a Creative Production Manager I, you will work with fellow copywriters/editors, copy leads and merchandising teams to develop effective and engaging product copy that is accurate, error-free, consistent with the Zulily voice, and centers the customer experience. You will be responsible for both writing and editing depending, and managing a high-volume workload.

The Retail Copy Team partners with teams across Creative and the rest of Zulily to ensure the best possible shopping experience for Mom by writing and editing enticing, inspiring and clear copy that appears across events, brand pages and product pages. The words we write help Mom make purchasing decisions every day for her and her family, and we're proud to help deliver a fun and enjoyable shopping experience while maintaining accuracy and brand standards.
- Write and self-edit compelling content that educates customers and follows Zulily copy standards and brand voice
- Edit and rewrite in-house and third-party vendor content for clarity and consistency
- Proofread for grammar, punctuation, spelling, usage, and style
- Resolve update requests to live product pages
- Uphold legal and brand standards to ensure compliance
- Balance quality and quantity to meet daily production and quality goals
- Develop an understanding of all Zulily products and work with merchandising teams to communicate product information accurately to the customer
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study (English, Communications, Journalism, etc.) and/or minimum 2 years writing/editing experience
- Command of the English language (including spelling, grammar, and punctuation)
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Pass a writing/editing test as part of the application and interview process
