Securitization Regulatory Compliance Manager 🔥


Overview: The Securitization Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for managing all Asset-Backed Securitization regulatory agency requirements associated with the GMF North America securitization program that relates to retail auto loans, auto leases and dealer floorplan receivables. This position includes but is not limited to, conducting, documenting and managing, process automation, internal controls, staff training and development as well as internal and external audits relating to regulatory reporting. Responsibilities: JOB DUTIES
  • Manage SEC reporting as it pertains to public securitizations
  • Document due dates of all filings and prepare and maintain document filing processes
  • Prepare and file 0-Ds and 0-Ks for Reg AB reporting
  • Review all Static Pool filing information for public securitizations
  • Manage the various audit processes and inform management of audit progression
  • Research US and Canadian regulatory reporting issues, reviewing law changes and proposed legislation or rules changes to determine impact to the company
  • Work with various groups to implement changes to systems and processes to ensure efficient reporting and time-line maintenance
  • Work with Internal Audit and develop and document processes/procedures ensuring internal controls are sufficient to satisfy SOX 404 requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of capital markets and financial analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of finance principles
  • Financial forecasting
  • Financial reporting
  • Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings and reporting
  • Working knowledge of the securitization methodologies
  • Working knowledge of treasury functions and overall cash flow of the business
Skills
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good leadership skills with an ability to lead, coach and develop others
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Outlook
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Master's Degree preferred
Experience
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience required
