About Us and the Role:

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and motivated Accountant. We recently wrapped up our Series C, where we secured $100M in funding for our Cybersecurity Software Solutions. Our solutions are built for the mid-market and thus experiencing dramatic growth! Coro started in Tel-Aviv, Israel and is also headquartered in Chicago, IL. As a global organization, Coro gives you the ability to work with people and teammates from across the world.


We are looking to add our first US based Accountant to our team at Coro, this role will report to our Director of Finance! If you enjoy being able to work independently to manage our US-based accounting department, then check out more details below! This is a remote role for anyone located in the US that is in the EST. Responsibilities:
  • Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes - verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, allocate expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures, collect revenues information, reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain account balances and bank statements reconciliation
  • Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss, and other statements.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation.
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Processes payroll and prepare payroll reports
  • Accounts payable and payment processes, communicate with suppliers, ensure that invoices are properly approved by the business owner, prepare invoices for payment, and ensure proper recording in the general ledger.
  • PayEm and credit card payments management and analysis
  • Prepare various analyses per the needs of the company, such as cash burn, expenses, etc.
  • Manage expense reimbursement process
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience working as an Accountant
  • Experience with qb.com and bill.com
  • Very good excel skills (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, analysis and reports in excel)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Remote okay, east coast hours

Compensation:

$75,000-$90,000 DOE
