Responsibilities: Who are you? Working within our commercial organization, this Director level role is primarily accountable for designing, governing and overseeing our sales incentive plan administration. A strong understanding of incentive plan design components and levers will enable a successful sales compensation program for our commercial organization. Additionally, this senior resource is a key contributor to and facilitator of our end to end sales & account management reporting. This role has direct and weekly access to executive leaders and will work alongside them to bring commercial analytics and insights to leadership.


In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:

  • Sales Incentive Plan Management
    • Incentive Plan design and implementation of annual enhancements
    • Monthly & Quarterly processing of 350+ sales & account management colleague incentive plans
    • Quality control (QC) and auditing of Sales data and compensation calculations
    • Platform owner & administrator and key liaison with Captivate IQ
    • Management of incoming escalations and Commissions mailbox responses
    • Facilitator & program manager of Sales Commissions Governance Committee
  • Commercial Analytics – player / coach
    • Weekly / Monthly commercial reporting
    • Quarterly commercial and board reporting
    • Strong partnership with finance and executive leadership re. results, insights & trends
    • Business partnership / strong relationship management with sales and account management and commercial, business leaders

Qualifications: What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • 7-10 years executing and managing Sales & Account Mgmt sales incentive plans including International (out of USA) plan design
  • Strong working knowledge and deep acumen re sales incentive designs and administration
  • Key influencer and operator within commercial / sales operations team working alongside sales leadership, sales operations, commission administration

High proficiency with Salesforce.com, a sales incentive plan platform (preferably Captivate IQ), excel, Power BI and other reporting / visualization toolsYou also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics:

  • Prior working experience in managing sales incentive plans and commercial (sales & account management) analytics
  • Highly proficient, strong financial acumen – notably around revenue, bookings
  • Resourceful program manager – ability to manage varied and complex projects / initiatives
  • Relationship management – easy to work with, creates trusted partnerships
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential data in professional setting
