Staff Software Engineer - Frontend/react 🔥


Position Purpose:
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a technical frontend lead on the cloud enablement product team, designing and building products that enable our engineering partners across the technology organization to provision and manage their cloud workloads in a secure and compliant manner. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. In addition, Staff Software Engineers will assist in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring.

Staff Software Engineers contribute to foundational code elements that can be reused as well as architectural diagrams and other product-related documentation.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a core player on the product team and are expected to build and grow the skillsets of the more junior Engineers.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

3 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Javascript frontend frameworks for web applications. React is preferred but experience with others like Angular JS, Vue JS, etc. will be considered.
  • Experience with frontend UI libraries such as Material UI
  • Experience architecting frontend solutions with dynamic user interfaces and experiences
  • Experience with CI/CD and pipeline automation (examples: GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, TeamCity, etc.)
  • Experience grooming Agile formatted user stories
  • Experience performing UX/UI design activities
  • Experience building applications that run in the public cloud (examples: GCP, Azure and/or AWS)
  • Experience with security frameworks for user and services authorization and authentication
  • Experience with creating and executing unit, functional, destructive and performance tests
  • Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques
  • Experience with version control systems

Pay Rate: $190,000 - $120,000
