Advanced Systems Design is seeking a MuleSoft Architect / Java Developer* for our client.*
This is a fully remote opportunity to work alongside the federal government.

Job Overview:
This position will be the teamโ€™s MuleSoft and Java technical solutions authority and must be well versed in both languages. The solo developer will support a well-established Agile team. The Mulesoft/Java Developer will overcome challenges faced by healthcare by collaborating with a development team to maintain and build integrations using MuleSoft and Java. This position will help clarify complex business integration requirements, participate and contribute to the design and development of MuleSoft-based orchestrations and API development with customers and clients, develop and execute complementary tests, analyze the development of logical and physical specifications, identify, communicate, debug, and resolve technical defects, and assist with implementing optimization flows and orchestrations. This position will require the ability to support an 8 am - 5 pm EST schedule.
Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Lead MuleSoft developer
  • 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer
  • Experience with Java programming & development, including Java Enterprise and Spring
  • Experience with Java 11 version or higher
  • Familiarity deploying applications to both Java and Mule (on-premises and in the cloud)
  • Demonstrated track record in software development experience and agile methodologies in a consulting environment
  • Experience using Anypoint 4.3 or higher platform
  • Advanced understanding of data formats such as XML, CSV, and JSON
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
  • MuleSoft Architect Certification
  • Demonstrated track record working in software product life cycle development using Agile methodologies in a consulting environment
  • Must have the ability to work independently to address concerns and successfully troubleshoot issues
  • Self-motivated and proactive when problem-solving
  • Ability to communicate & understand stakeholder expectations and translate those expectations into the product
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness Determination
  • Ability to pass Level 2 Background & Fingerprinting required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IAT II Certification

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent field
