Demand Gen / Account Based Marketing Lead


Ikigai helps operational leaders across industries and functions to harness their data and turn actionable insights into insightful actions.

As an ABM Lead you will coordinate, manage, execute, and analyze digital marketing programs and campaigns, starting from audience management, lead nurturing and demand generation. You will work closely with the rest of the marketing team as well as Sales, BDR, Customer Success, and Product Teams. The position can be based in New York, Boston, or San Francisco but can be remote given the right candidate.

  • Building audiences across channels, refining the list of target accounts, keywords and segmentation

  • Developing and executing short- and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads and the sales pipeline, including but not limited to email, social, PPC, and content syndication

  • Monitoring and optimizing campaigns and programs

  • Developing ad messages and creatives through A/B testing strategies and execution across all channels

  • Managing marketing automation platform (Marketo) and email marketing

  • Assisting with marketing operations strategy and execution

  • Knowing the company’s brand and products inside and out

  • Enhancing sales enablement programs

  • Effectively managing marketing campaigns and programs calendar

  • Identifying new markets and advertising tactics to encourage business growth

  • Assuring buy-in and budget support from senior leadership and stakeholders

  • Measuring and analyzing campaign and marketing success

  • Delivering performance reports to leadership and departments you partner with


Qualifications / requirements

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience working for a high-growth startup, B2B SaaS and/or highly innovative technology company

  • Good knowledge of marketing automation systems (preferably Marketo) required

  • Experience with lead scoring, ABM tactics, personalization tools, and buyer intent data

  • Understanding marketing KPIs and how to report on them


An ideal candidate would have:

  • A mix of series A and B (and above) experience, ideally going through a growth journey with the company

  • The ‘owners’ mentality – treating the business and budget as if it was their own

  • Sense of urgency and the ability to drive self and results for the company

  • Out-of-the-box thinking to come up with creative ways to promote Ikigai with the most effective use of budget
