We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer Intern to join our team! Your day to day You will be working in a vibrant environment, so you can never expect to have just another typical day at work. It’s definitely not your comfort zone, but you will never get bored, that is a promise. As part of the team, you will work with Solution Architects, Developers, Data Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers and QAs to ensure the validity of work. You will also liaise with clients and stakeholders as part of a project team. You will be using the latest tools, techniques and methodologies. On any particular day you will be doing several of the following: Participate in agile meetings such as daily stand ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. Participate in design sessions with a Solution Architect, Developers and other Data Engineers.Learn to create CI pipelines that will automate builds, unit tests, etc.Learn to create CD pipelines for code deployments to AWS services, which can include running automated integration tests.Learn to create CD pipelines for code deployments to Azure services, which can include running automated integration tests.Learn to create deployment scripts for ML services, e.g. Deploying a Docker container into an Azure or AWS service along with the relevant infrastructure configuration required by the container.Learn to create and configure cloud based networking for client solutions. Preparing laptops and virtual machines for use by the company.Providing support for company hardware/software issues that occasionally arise. Requirements You may be a good fit for our team if you: Are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.Have the desire to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Are a well-organized, excellent work ethic, attention to detail, time management, self-starting.Are a creative problem-solver who also understands real-world products.Have the constant desire to grow, learn, and explore new things. Your professional experience You don’t necessarily have any professional experience related to DevOps. You are looking to start a career in DevOps. However you do have a technical background, with IT experience that provides the foundational knowledge for a DevOps engineer. Also you have: Experience with some of the following: Programming and/or scripting languages such as Java / C# / Python / Powershell / Bash / DOSIT infrastructure configuration.IT networking. Nice to haves: Experience with Cloud Platforms.Experience or knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline. Git.Working in an Agile environment.Working knowledge of Kubernetes or Docker ContainersBasic SQL QueryingKnowledge on monitoring tools..
