This position is 100% remote; limited travel is expected.
Overview
The Mobile Health Marketing Team is looking for a graphic designer with 3-5 years’ experience, a demonstrated portfolio of work, and who is eager and enthusiastic about taking the visual identity of our brand to the next level. If you love tapping into the needs and emotions of potential clients, Mobile Health needs you! We’ve grown this team to shape who we are and what we stand for to the market – we’re ready to bring design in-house with a Graphic Designer who can communicate our visual brand identity and push us to the next level. You’ll be working on a small team of highly motivated marketing employees and have a copy writing partner. As a pair, your design and their writing will form the basis of all our creative ideation and production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
To be successful, the right candidate will have the ability to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Receive design briefs and translate the business objective into a sound idea territory
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Confidently present your visual ideas to your team, seeking feedback and incorporating direction
- Understand and embrace the idea that good ideas can come from anywhere and anyone
- Develop illustrations, graphics, web sites, digital media, and print collateral
- Understand our customer needs and be able to present your work with the “voice of the customer” in mind
- Carry the visual brand equity we have developed throughout all customer touchpoints
- Build a repository of work to support ongoing needs that is easily accessible by all Mobile Health team members
- Create motion graphic videos; ability to direct and shoot live video a plus
- Ability to express your ideas to our agency partners and give actionable feedback
- Assist other departments and teams with internal and external presentations
- Work very closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and your copy writer partner in the execution of creative ideas
Experience & Education
- Experience as a graphic designer working inside a marketing and/or advertising agency, creative studio, or an in-house marketing team or media organization
- A portfolio of work, including examples that show how you have taken a business objective / strategy from an idea all the way through to execution and results
- Able to work inside all standard design software packages such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- A sharp eye for aesthetics and details
- A degree or commensurate experience in design or a related field
