Staff Product Designer

We look for product designers who are passionate about representing the voice of customers and users in product conversations and who are motivated by ownership and autonomy. How you'll contribute:

  • Positively impact the lives of customers and end users by understanding their unique needs
  • Lead projects through the full design lifecycle, working with product managers and engineers to define problems, ideate/test designs, implement solutions, and measure results
  • Balance project goals and available resources to define immediate solutions and prepare comprehensive long-term plans
  • Own a problem wherever it takes them, even across teams and roles
  • Thrive in an environment of inclusion, collaboration, and growth
  • Care about building a culture of creative expression, experimentation, and community
  • Investigate the 'how' of implementation to understand limitations, costs, and opportunities
  • Consider new tools and processes to better address day-to-day problems

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Digital Media Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience
  • Figma, Miro, presentation and prototyping tools
  • Asana, Jira, Confluence, Github
  • History of accessibility advocacy
  • Experience working with or managing internal design systems
  • HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Track record of leading design teams that have shipped quality products and/or services
  • Experience developing successful solutions in ambiguous problem spaces
  • History of building strong, collaborative relationships with engineering and product teams
  • History crafting product strategies and building organizational support for new initiatives
  • Evidence of considering the visual expression of a solution as deeply as other aspects of the problem.
  • Comfort establishing processes, planning the realization of project goals, and overseeing concurrent workstreams
  • Thorough knowledge of usability principles, visual design principles, and universal design practices
  • Extended skillset that may include (but is not limited to): UX research, design operations, UI design, content strategy, and front-end development
