Kalkomey is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the account of one of our large state clients and act as their partner in ensuring our SAAS product meets the needs of their business, timelines, and changing requirements. This is a unique opportunity to guide our clients through transitionary times and make a lasting impact.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact and collaboration for one of our state agency customers who utilize our SaaS platform to operate their business functions
  • Own relationship with the customer to ensure a successful partnership
  • Manage and maintain calendar of events for the customer
  • Responsible for project schedule and management, as well as status updates both internally and externally
  • Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems
  • Train users across cross functional departments (internal and external)
  • Provides expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
  • Configures system settings and options
  • Plans and executes functional tests of use cases
  • Receive, triage, and resolve escalations related to technical and regulatory issues


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ Years of experience as a Customer Success Manager, Business Analyst, Professional Services Consultant, or similar customer-facing role
  • Experience managing SAAS solutions and providing training and support to customers
  • Knowledge of Agile development frameworks and methodologies
  • Ability to work autonomously, build strong relationships, and problem-solve.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A passion for Customer Success, teamwork, and getting more people outside!


Preferred

  • Experience working with government clients
  • Knowledge of government outdoor licensing and permit requirements (such as hunting, fishing, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of SQL or desire to learn
  • Knowledge of digital marketing terminology and tools
