Grow your career as a Social Media and Communications Coordinator within ALG Vacations, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role, you will support the areas of Social Media, Copy and Communications/PR. This person will report to the Social and Sales Development Manager, with a dotted line to PR. We are looking for someone with knowledge of all social media channels, especially TikTok, from reporting to posting, support our B2B2C Blog Travelblogue and helping the Director PR with various tasks.

A successful Social Media and Communications Coordinator will:

  • Serve as primary backup for Social Media Manager, managing content posting, customer service, and page surveillance for B2B and B2B2C social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) as needed
  • Adds media inventory into Media Tool Platform for both Social Media and Blog
  • Assists with Social Media for B2B coop plans working closely with SSI Team
  • Will be responsible for the BDM Newsroom capture each week and various other sales collateral as needed
  • Collecting proof of execution for Blog and Social Media channels to deliver to our Partners for payment
  • Working with hotel/government and partnership marketing to capture content for blog and social posts per marketing schedule
  • Building and scheduling blog posts
  • Assists Director of PR in sending press releases to Trade Publications as well as reporting
  • Ability to utilize social media tools such as Hootsuite to plan, manage and implement B2B marketing strategies
  • Analyze most important social media KPIs and metrics for best practices
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Partner with copywriters and creative designers to ensure content is strategic and relevant

A successful Social Media and Communications Coordinator will have:

  • College degree with a preferred major in Marketing and/or Communications.
  • Minimum 2 years of marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with Social Media Channels including – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
  • Blog and Podcast Familiarity a plus.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, WordPress, Mediatool, Trello, and Hootsuite
  • Mastery of Microsoft Suite
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at self- and project management with an eye for detail and logistics
  • Highly creative with ability to think outside of the box
