For Advisory Marketing Leadership

A well written client story drops the reader into the midst of an evolving situation. It makes them feel where the pressure is coming from, where the opportunities lay, and the need to get a company from where it is, to where it should be. It then walks the reader to the other side – making them an interested observer in a company that has undergone a transformation. One that has resulted in a new sense of purpose and energy along with new tools and technology.

Writing these stories well requires a variety of skills:

- Reviewing background materials and conducting any additional desk research required to develop a command of the topics and formulate interview questions

- Interviewing SMEs to gather the facts as well as the human elements at the heart of the story

- Writing engaging copy within templates for web pages, presentation slides, social posts, and potentially, videos or podcasts

- Taking direction from multiple stakeholders and applying it in ways that address feedback while preserving good storytelling

- Communicating effectively with creative director and project manager to keep various assets moving through the production pipeline

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $58.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Copywriting: 5 years (Required)
  • Professional Services Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
