Devops / Cloud Engineer 🔥

Job Responsibilities:
● Lead cloud application and infrastructure deployments for development and production environments.
● Improve infrastructure reliability and implement emerging best practices.
● Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible and embrace Infrastructure as code (Iac).
● Troubleshoot infrastructure issues for end-users and developers
● Provide Subject Matter expertise for the design and roadmapping of infrastructure
● Maintain and advance the capabilities of our CI/CD pipeline.
● Work closely with scientists to transition new and existing R&D software to production infrastructure in the cloud.
● Manage user environments and help resolve issues.
● Create and maintain detailed documentation.
● Support small office infrastructure
Minimum Requirements:
● Strong expertise in server administration ( Ubuntu, RedHat)
● Strong experience with Docker (Dockerfile, docker-compose) and Kubernetes.
● Solid Linux bash/shell scripting
● Solid Experience with GCP (IAM, Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine) or other cloud vendors.
● Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis, Bamboo or TeamCity).
● 4-year technical degree and 3+ years professional experience.
● Experience supporting production infrastructure.
● Occasional Off-hours support.
