Content Writer
BrandMuscle is searching for an ambitious team player with excellent writing and project management skills to join our Corporate Marketing team as a Content Writer.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for contributing to the execution of the content marketing strategy by writing content for the BrandMuscle website, social media channels, email outreach, advertising, and more.

We are looking for a candidate who is versatile, thoughtful, innovative and able to easily adapt to rapid changes. We work in a fast-paced, competitive market that requires and quick learning and turnarounds, so flexibility is critical for success in this position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely in a collaborative environment, be an excellent writer, and have an impeccable eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging B2B content in the form of SEO blog posts, articles, landing pages, video copy, email copy, ad copy, social media posts, press releases, case studies, and more that will help increase conversions in compliance with our style guide and brand guidelines.
  • Research and understand complex channel marketing topics, including fund management, brand management, and AI.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive research, and optimize content for search engine optimization and general online visibility.
  • Stay current with SEO industry trends and algorithm development to ensure SEO best practices are being followed
  • Develop and present weekly and monthly marketing KPI reports.
  • Craft compelling stories using data from our annual State of Local Marketing Research.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage the company’s presence on social media. Maintain company profiles, develop social media calendars and posts using Hootsuite. Identify and share content from industry thought leaders and like-minded businesses. Actively listen and respond to online conversations, DMs and reviews.
  • Maintain and publish timely updates to the marketing calendar, including posting web content in WordPress and supporting its distribution through sales enablement materials.
  • Identify and create media opportunities. Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts. Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, a related area, or equivalent experience is required
  • B2B or agency marketing experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional project and time management skills
  • General marketing knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, professional etiquette, and relationship management skills
  • This is a remote opportunity
