This position is full - time (40 hours / week). Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time zone). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends.This is a US Remote position. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and be accountable for professional employees
  • Coordinate and supervise daily / weekly / monthly activities of team members
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met
  • Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc.
  • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment.
  • Work to further define and create new processes related to the identification and resolution of operational problems
  • Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action

This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You’ll need to stay positive at all times especially in difficult situations. You’ll be asked to mentor, challenge and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree (or higher) OR High School Diploma / GED with equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of customer service OR call center experience in a leadership role (not limited to people leaders)
  • 2+ years of exprience in an external customer - facing role
  • Proficiency with Windows computer applications and Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word (ability to create, edit, save and send documents), Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, save and send spreadsheets), Microsoft Outlook (ability to create, edit, save and send correspondence), Microsoft Teams (ability to use it to effectively communicate with team), and Microsoft Onenote (ability to create, set up new tabs, and edit)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience as a UHSS Integration Manager
  • Experience with the UnitedHealthcare Shared Services product

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 - $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 - $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
