About the Role

  • The Director Product Marketing will be a product evangelist and own the go to market plan for product launches and market communications throughout product life cycles.
  • They will have the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into business benefits and develop product positioning, messaging and content that resonates with customers along each stage of the buying process.
  • The team currently comprises of ~25 global associates across the US and Europe and is expected to grow. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
What you’ll do

  • Lead and develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with targeted buyers by understanding our brand, customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive landscape, as it relates to the contingent workforce management industry.
  • Create, manage, and execute the product marketing strategy and integrated marketing campaigns for new and existing products to optimize reach, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Lead creation of thought-leading product marketing materials and content across digital and print communications such as customer literature, blogs, e-mails, videos, webinars, presentations, web copy, advertisement, and trade show/event material.
  • Develop a competitive intelligence framework and research, manage, and provide key insights that will guide product requirements/positioning and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Create effective materials and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders like product management, sales, partner marketing and customer success to achieve goals.
  • Partner with integrated marketing team to execute winning marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the portfolio internally and externally, creating and delivering presentations with confidence.
  • Monitor market and competitive trends, feed insights back into teams and adjust strategies and execution as needed.
  • Collaborates with members of the extended Marketing team including Creative Services, Communications, PR, AR, Solutions Marketing, etc.
  • Effectively communicate marketing plan, progress to plans and campaign/pipe updates on a regular basis to stakeholders – manager, sales, product, corp/demand-gen, other product marketers
What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or directly related experience required.
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience preferably in the SaaS environment or workforce/HCM experience and expertise highly preferred.
  • Strong planning and project management skills, with proven ability to oversee complex projects from origin to execution.
  • Exceptional collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership, work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Experience in these additional marketing areas is a plus: Demand generation, email marketing, social media, and branding.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines.
