Duties

This will be a great opportunity for you if:

The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. This position is eligible for fully remote work anywhere within the 50 United States, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The duty station is the authorized telework location (typically your home address) and locality pay is adjusted appropriately. Qualifications

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. For the GS-09: Applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes:

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience for GS-09 grade level only: Applicant must possess master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree; or you can qualify based on a combination of graduate education and experience that provided the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

For the GS-11: Applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
  • Experience researching emerging technologies; and
  • Experience with JavaScript technology.
