Job Description

Curinos is currently seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to partner with Sales to drive Amplero platform growth. This is a remote position. Curinos is a pioneer in the FinTech space; we have built unparalleled data sets and a range of software solutions that enable financial institutions to unlock customer value in an increasingly digital-first world. Our Amplero solution is an AI-powered platform that banks use to deliver highly relevant and personalized marketing experiences to their customers across all digital channels.


The Pre-Sales Engineer is internally and externally recognized as an expert on Curinos key marketing offerings for global financial institutions. This individual has broad and detailed domain knowledge as well as functional and technical understanding of the solution capabilities.

The pre-sales engagement phase includes preparation and brainstorming sessions with the sales team, presentation building and delivery, driving technical follow-ups, and completing RFPs/RFIs. With excellent platform knowledge, you will also lead Amplero demos for clients. You will be the main lead for architecting solution designs to integrate the Amplero platform with client data sources and marketing orchestrations platforms for various delivery channels (email, app, web, CRM, etc.) and will remain a key stakeholder throughout the client's sales process and onboarding, where you will continue to contribute in a consulting capacity.

This is a fun, creative, and dynamic role which allows you to ideate, iterate, and lead the technical and solution design process with potential clients and third-party partners. This is in partnership across a variety of departments such as Commercial, Services, Tech, and Product. This role is perfect for someone currently operating as a project manager or business analyst that is looking for higher career potential, a more customer facing role, and a broader overall focus. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with a flair for creative problem solving and communications.

You will have the ability to:

  • Support Senior Client Managers in the overall sales process.
  • Offer expert advice on use cases and solution scope, from integration planning initial implementation design, to resolution of technical issues.
  • Effective in assessing business problems and recommending solutions.
  • Architect and lead meetings and/or workshops with potential clients to determine the technical and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution.
  • Drive and respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI).
  • Support technical teams with overall customer requirements - translating customer requirements into internal facing documentation for purpose of definition and estimations of requirements.
  • Project manage customer Proof of Concept (POC) and lead educational workshops on the product and delivery.
  • Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide “voice of the customer” perspective to Product Management and formulate product recommendations.
  • Build productive relationships internally and externally, credible with both business and technical functions (particularly collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales).
  • Help build and mentor a team of Technical Advisors.
  • Provide accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI’s.



  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant Professional Services Industry experience, ideally in Financial Services vertical.
  • Must have extensive experience with marketing orchestration platforms (Salesforce, Oracle, IBM) and Decision engines (Pega, HCL Interact).
  • Fast learner with growth mindset
  • Very organized and able to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Comfort in operating independently in unstructured environment and in grey zones across teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; both face to face and remotely.
  • High degree of integrity, professionalism, and ability to cultivate and grow long term relationships based on a level of mutual trust at all levels within a client organization.
  • Strong customer facing and presentation skills
  • Conversational ability around high-level topics in marketing technology and data platform integration including architecture, analytics, Tableau, Linux, Java, and SQL.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 - plus bonus.
