At LegitScript, we are passionate about making the internet and payment ecosystems safer and more transparent. We help companies of all sizes keep their services legal and safe for consumers. To do this, LegitScript combines big data with the world’s leading team of experts skilled in highly regulated and complex sectors, including transaction laundering detection, pharmaceuticals, online gambling, and more.

The result? Unmatched accuracy and deep risk analysis that identifies which commercial entities play by the rules, and which do not. Our diverse industry partnerships provide unique insights that keep businesses and governments at the forefront of emerging trends. That’s why LegitScript is trusted by the world's largest search engines, internet platforms, payment companies, and regulatory agencies.

The Content Marketing Specialist plays an important role in helping create compelling content for LegitScript. Our expertise, communicated through content, is a cornerstone of the brand. It helps to educate, uncover, persuade, convince, support, and deliver unique value to our prospects and customers. In this position, you’ll work within the content marketing team to plan, research, write, produce, and edit multiple forms of content — everything from blog posts to organic social media to long in-depth reports.

While your primary focus will be on the creation of marketing content, you’ll support additional communications functions, including website SEO and keyword research, organic social media engagement, and public relations support. You’ll be working with industry tools such as WordPress, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Apple applications.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a fast-paced, creative and growing marketing team and build your experience in B2B content marketing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Content planning: In collaboration with the Senior Communications Manager, you’ll help define content goals, create and maintain a content calendar, keep existing content assets up to date, and support overall content strategy and process.
  • Content research: You’ll track industry trends to ensure that content is relevant and targets audiences at all stages of the buyer journey.
  • Content creation: You’ll write content yourself as well as collaborate with subject matter experts to ideate, develop, and edit content they write. You’ll work with creatives to bring multiple forms of content to life, from fact sheets and presentations to guides, infographics, testimonials, and more.
  • Campaign support: You’ll help brainstorm innovative content ideas and develop strong calls to action in support of demand generation campaigns. You’ll also proofread and edit campaign copy and ensure the writing is clear, compelling, and on brand.
  • Social media management: You’ll help develop creative campaigns to engage and grow our audience through social channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Website content: You’ll help make content updates to the public website and support SEO efforts.
  • PR support: You’ll research and recommend hot topics for media outreach and help develop press releases and other earned media content.

What You’ll Bring:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a similar field.

  • You have work experience in content creation or marketing copywriting.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable experience in writing clear, concise, and compelling marketing copy.

  • You are highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented with an ability to consistently meet deadlines.

  • You’re a fast learner who is self-motivated, curious, and thrives on continuous learning and improvement.

  • You are dependable, with outstanding multitasking abilities and an eagerness to understand and support the needs of a busy and fast-paced marketing team.

  • You have a strong working knowledge of spreadsheets (including Excel and Google Sheets), documents (including Word and Google docs), and presentation tools (including PowerPoint and Google Slides). WordPress experience is a plus.

In addition to your resume, please include a brief cover letter telling us why you would be a good fit for the role and writing samples of your choosing.

This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position. We cannot support international remote work.

In addition to competitive salaries, full-time employees enjoy a great benefits package:

  • Multiple Medical plans (one with $0 employee premium option), Dental & Vision plans

  • 401k with company match and immediate vesting

  • Generous paid time off package and 11 paid holidays

  • And much more!

If you got to this point, we hope you're feeling excited about the job description you just read. Even if you don't feel that you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
