Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 Annually


Position Summary

Au Pair in America, America’s first government designated au pair program, is looking for a Full-Time Client Services Coordinator to join their team! As a Client Services Specialist, you will need to be task-oriented, self motivated and detail oriented. You will work to ensure our host family accounts and contracts are up-to-date with billing and adjustments that fall in line with the host family agreement. This position will require communication with host families and other members of the Au Pair in America team. A clear communicator will be essential to this role.


This position is Full-Time and has flexible office days out of our Stamford, CT office with the option to be remote 3 days per week. Typical office hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. AIFS operates on a 35-hour work week Monday through Friday. In-office work days may change as the needs of the business are assessed. Fully remote may be available for the right candidate, however quarterly travel to the main office would be expected.


Your responsibilities would include:

  • Being knowledgeable of host family accounts receivable screens and answering customer calls as needed.
  • Reviewing host family accounts as needed and processing adjustments.
  • Reporting weekly on status of accounts to Deputy Director.
  • Working as a member of the accounting team and handling customer service calls as needed.
  • Taking host family payments and issue statements as needed.
  • Data entry to ensure contract and billing accuracy for the department.

  • Processing Community Counselor payroll as part of a two-person team.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Understanding of basic accounting functions
  • Organized and has good interpersonal skills

Education & Experience:

  • 1-3 Years of accounting experience a plus
  • 1-3 Years of Customer Service experience in an office setting
