Consulting Partner - Customer Relationship Management (Retail/CPG) WDC

Location: anywhere in the US (preference is well connected city in Eastern or Central or Mountain time zones) WDC, Baltimore, Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, Denver, Cincinnati, Cleveland, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia,

Travel: Must be willing and able to travel up to 80%, depending on client requirements

Base Salary: $180-200K (Bonus Target 10-15%)

Job Description: Business Consulting and Pre-sales

  • Experience engaging and consulting Cā€™ suite and Business leaders across CPG Value Chain
  • Experience with delivering Business consulting engagements for CPG and Retail Clients aimed at designing and executing business strategies for our clients, being responsible for quality, budget, and staffing, working closely with senior client stakeholders
  • Advise clients on strategy and detailed use cases by leveraging insights from industry best practices
  • Collaborate with clients to define long-term vision, goals and strategies, help identify and design downstream product, operational and technology initiatives
  • Ability to articulate Business value of Tech modernization to Business customer. Consult and help customers with defining/ refining their tech roadmap and strategy
  • Experience with consultative pre-sales/ sales efforts

Practice Building

  • Understand and drive asset creation around best practices in CPG and Retail and contribute to the development of service offerings
  • Contribute to thought leadership activities and IP/Asset development , including differentiated points of view and perspective.
  • Contribute to practice growth through hiring , grooming and retention

Qualifications:

Education: 4+ Years of College Degree , MBA or an equivalent degree preferred

Domain: CPG and Retail

Work : Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 1-2 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm

  • Strong experience delivering engagements comprising both client stakeholders, operations, business and technology specialists
  • A demonstrable ability to translate business objectives into operational and technology requirements with the commercial acumen to create supporting business cases
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with ability to build client relationships
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 80%, depending on client requirements
  • Must have experience :
  • Good understanding of new age digital technologies
  • Deep understanding of CPG industry trends, strategic objectives, business metrics and business challenges across the value chain
  • Identify, quantify & prioritize all opportunities for client e. Assist in building a Business Case (ROI/IRR/Sensitivity analysis)
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry trends across Sales & marketing, consumer, commerce, Supply chain and Finance areas and apply them in existing and new product offerings
  • Create proactive pitch for Go to Marketing strategy and solutions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
