This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing. Position is fully remote with dotted line responsibility to the headquarters located in Salem, Oregon.


Job Summary:

ESHA is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to develop and publish various types of content to support our sales and marketing teams (including emails, blogs, eBooks, client testimonials, case studies, sales materials, video, website copy).


The Content Marketing Specialist responsibilities include producing SEO-optimized marketing copy to advertise our products, writing blog posts about industry-related topics, and develop, launch, and optimize email marketing campaigns. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads. Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and products.


As the Content Marketing Specialist, you must be a self-starter motivated by a genuine passion for marketing and creating content that connects and aligns with the company's goals.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop the brand strategy and maintain that throughout the content
  • Develop and execute successful SEO content strategies (written text, video, infographics, images, and assets like pdf’s etc.)
  • Write and edit for a variety of media, including websites, blogs, emails, online ads, style guides, social media, sales collateral, client stories, and more
  • Research industry-related topics, identify customers’ needs, and recommend new topics
  • Maintain knowledge of copywriting best practices
  • Maintain knowledge of ESHA’s products, solutions, customer applications, competitive product differences as well as underlying technologies
  • Develop, launch, and optimize email marketing campaigns from end to end.
  • Provide proactive recommendations and A/B test to improve open rates, click rates, deliverability, and reduce opt outs.
  • Continuously monitor content performance and identify any gaps in keyword rankings
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Measure web traffic to content (e.g., conversion and bounce rates)
  • Assist with reporting and analyzing the performance of our digital marketing efforts, including our social media ads, PPC Ads, SEO, etc.
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g., comments and shares)
  • Assist in planning and hosting of marketing related events, in collaboration with internal teams

Minimum/Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, English, Journalism, communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional marketing experience, including development, implementation and management of marketing strategy and tactics
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and strategies
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into compelling messaging and campaigns
  • Comfortable communicating with cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience with initiating and managing digital media campaigns such as social media, Google Ads, LinkedIn, or other paid platforms
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Demonstrated email experience, including creative development, assets, building, testing, deploying, and reporting for responsive email campaigns.
  • Basic understanding of design and brand principles as related to the development of marketing materials

Preferred Computer Skills


  • Experience with project, website, email, and CRM tools (Basecamp, WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Thorough understanding of and ability to use Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools

How to Stand Out

  • Background in food & beverage, nutrition, regulatory compliance, and/or related industry
  • Knowledge of SAAS software
